Optional Climb of Mont Blanc will take place after the course. Those who wish to climb may ascend to the Gouter refuge at 3817 meters. From there some in the group will descend after a night at the refuge. Others will attempt the summit, climbing from the Gouter refuge to the top of Mont Blanc at 4807m. Climbing guides, gear rental, and refuge fees are in addition to the course tuition. Contact us for details. A wide variety of other recreational opportunities await participants in the Chamonix area. Some in our group will join other cycling enthusiasts to observe part of the mountain stage of the Tour de France after the course.
